At the heart of the community, the Limpsfield Chart Residents Association has been formed to bring people together and help shape life on the Chart.
Originally formed from the long-standing committee behind the much-loved Chart Fair, the group has recently evolved into a formal Residents Association. This step reflects both the growing energy within the community and a desire to do even more to support and represent local residents.
The Association exists to represent and promote the interests of those who live on Limpsfield Chart, while also working to support, enhance and protect the unique character of the area. It provides a collective voice for residents, helping to maintain the special sense of place that makes the Chart so distinctive.
A key part of its role is organising and overseeing community events. Its principal activities include the hugely popular annual Chart Fair and the weekly Coffee Mornings — both of which have become important fixtures in the local calendar. At the same time, becoming a formal association brings greater flexibility, allowing the group to introduce new initiatives and activities in response to community interest and demand.
Above all, the Residents Association is about connection, community spirit and participation — encouraging neighbours to get involved, meet one another and play a part in village life.
