A highlight of the summer calendar, the Limpsfield Chart Fair is a much-loved annual celebration of everything that makes this community so special.
Held each year on the second or third Sunday in June, the fair takes place on the beautiful Limpsfield Chart Cricket Pitch, running from 12 noon to 4pm. For one afternoon, the cricket ground is transformed into a vibrant hub of activity, bringing together residents, families and visitors for a relaxed, fun-filled day.
At its heart, the Chart Fair is all about community. A wide variety of stalls showcase local crafts, produce and homemade treats, alongside games and activities for all ages. Children can enjoy traditional fair fun, while adults browse, chat and soak up the atmosphere.
Entertainment runs throughout the afternoon, adding to the lively, village-fete feel — and one of the standout favourites each year is the ever-popular dog show, guaranteed to draw a crowd and plenty of smiles.
Organised by the Limpsfield Chart Residents Association, the fair continues a long-standing tradition of bringing people together and celebrating life on the Chart. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with neighbours, meet new faces and enjoy a simple, joyful afternoon in a truly special setting.
